Kidderminster Harriers defender Kam Kandola has been honoured with the club’s Young Player of the Year award, capping off an impressive debut season at Aggborough Stadium.

The 21-year-old centre-back, who joined the Harriers in September 2024 after departing Wolves, quickly established himself as a key figure in Phil Brown’s squad and went on to make 32 appearances in all competitions during the 2024/25 season, contributing one goal and helping the team maintain a solid defensive record. His performances were instrumental in the Harriers’ campaign where the club fell just short of winning the National League North and promotion.

Prior to his move to Kidderminster, Kandola spent 13 years at Wolves, progressing through their academy ranks to become a regular in the under-21s. He signed his first professional contract with the Premier League club in November 2021 and was noted for his leadership qualities and understanding of the game.

Manager Phil Brown praised Kandola’s impact, stating, “Kam has been a revelation this season. His transition from academy football to the senior game has been seamless, and his attitude and performances have been exemplary.”

The Young Player of the Year award was presented to Kandola following the Harriers’ final home game of the season, with supporters and club officials acknowledging his significant contributions.

Congratulations to Kam Kandola on a well-deserved accolade.
